French glass dome centerpiece, c. 1870. Globe de mariée. Inside with chair in red plush and silk with applied painted flowers in metal. Seat in white plush with small metal stars. Chair height.: 30 cm. W.: 31 cm. Glass bell on wooden base. H: 43 cm.
The chair has been used to display jewelry and wedding memorabilia.
