Hand-glazed stoneware bowl in warm brown-yellow tones with a densely speckled surface, characteristic of Starck’s experimental colour and texture work during the period.

Origin: Denmark.
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. 9 cm, D. 14 cm.
Period: 1960s.
Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Marianne Starck (1938–2007) was chief designer at Michael Andersen & Søn on Bornholm for several decades and played a key role in modernising the workshop’s aesthetic. Her work explored experimental glazes, tactile surfaces and simple, sculptural forms, making her production both widely recognisable and highly collectible today.
