Round art deco bowl in patinated bronze with a central relief figure, executed in Just Andersen’s characteristic LB alloy. The green-brown patina creates a deep, vibrant surface typical of the workshop’s decorative metalwork.

Just Andersen (1884–1943) was one of Denmark’s leading designers of the art deco era, known for his metalwork in bronze, pewter, and especially his proprietary alloys Disko and LB, which allowed for rich patination and distinctive texture. His work blends clean lines with subtle organic motifs, and today his pieces are highly valued for their material quality and timeless sculptural expression.
