Slim, sculptural stoneware vase with a unique hand-thrown expression, decorated with Nylund’s characteristic stripe pattern in matte blue, brown and white tones. The elegant elongated neck and harmonious colour balance give the piece a refined modernist presence.

Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was one of Rörstrand’s most important designers and a central figure in Swedish modernist ceramics. Known for his clean forms, balanced proportions and experimental glazes, he created an extensive body of work that remains highly valued by collectors today.
