Bio:
Daisy Makeig-Jones (1881–1945) was one of Wedgwood’s most visionary designers. Her Fairyland Lustre series, produced from the 1910s to the early 1930s, is characterised by fantastical motifs, iridescent colours and lavish gilding. Today the series is among Wedgwood’s most sought-after creations and stands as a landmark of early 20th-century decorative ceramics.
