Large, sculptural art-glass vase in clear glass with inner layers of white and deep turquoise/blue. Mouth-blown in a dramatic tall Coquille form with multiple rising flame-like arms, characteristic of Kedelv’s early mid-1950s production.

Bio:
Paul Kedelv (1917–1990) created the Coquille series at Flygfors as one of the most iconic expressions of Swedish modernist glass. The series is celebrated for its bold organic silhouettes, layered colours and sculptural presence, which brought Flygfors international recognition in the 1950s. Today, Coquille remains highly sought after by collectors of Nordic art glass.
