Handmade ceramic vase with a distinctive asymmetrical form and incised graphic decoration beneath a brown and white glaze. A characteristic example of Swedish studio pottery from the 1960s, marked by strong artistic individuality.

Bio:
Sven Törngren (1901–1969) was a Swedish ceramicist and visual artist associated with the Falkenberg ceramic studio. His works are known for hand-crafted forms and incised decorations, often inspired by natural and organic motifs. Törngren was part of the Swedish studio pottery movement that emphasised individuality, artistic expression, and craftsmanship.
