Bio:
Evy Viola Wiklund was a Swedish textile artist active during the mid-20th century. Her works are characterised by vibrant colours, pronounced textures, and a strong sense of modernist form. Alongside contemporaries such as Ingegerd Silow and Barbro Nilsson, she helped establish the rya carpet as an artistic statement within the Scandinavian home.
