Elegant stoneware bowl with a soft, organic form and matte blue glaze with a finely speckled surface — a characteristic example of Nylund’s refined sense of proportion and subtle color harmony. The bowl reflects the calm modernist aesthetic that defined Rörstrand’s mid-century production.

Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was one of Rörstrand’s most prominent designers and ceramic artists. Working with the company from the 1930s to the 1950s, he became known for his modern forms, matte “hare’s fur” glazes, and nature-inspired designs. His works today stand as icons of Swedish stoneware artistry.
