Spherical vase in frosted and opalescent glass with engraved and acid-etched decorations of leaves and flowers in purple shades. Signed “Légras” in the décor.

Designer: Légras.

Period: 1930s.
Condition: Very good condition, minor traces of use.

Bio:
François-Théodore Legras (1839–1916) established his glassworks in the late 19th century, and the company continued after his death under the name Légras. The factory became one of the most significant producers of Art Nouveau and Art Deco glass, particularly known for etched, engraved, and painted decorations. Légras vases are highly collectible today and represent an important chapter in French glass history.
