Bio:
Åke Holm (1900–1980) was a Swedish ceramicist, sculptor, and printmaker based in Höganäs. He is especially recognized for his ceramic works and woodcuts with biblical and mythological motifs, executed in a modernist, stylized manner. His works are represented in several Nordic museums and collections, and today he is considered a key figure in 20th-century Swedish art and craft.
