Biography:
Åke Holm (1900–1980) was a Swedish ceramicist and sculptor based in Höganäs. Trained at Höganäsbolaget, he later established his own studio where he created stoneware works in religious and figurative forms, often inspired by biblical motifs. His powerful expression and experimental glazes have made him one of the most distinctive Swedish ceramicists of the 20th century.
