Biography :
Bode Willumsen (1895–1978) was a Danish ceramist and craftsperson, known for his functional and artistic ceramic works. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts and worked for Royal Copenhagen, where he developed new designs and techniques.
Willumsen's ceramics are characterized by a simple, functionalist style with both geometric and organic forms. He exhibited his works in Denmark and internationally and was recognized for his ability to combine aesthetics and function. His influence on Danish ceramics and craftsmanship is significant, and his works continue to be appreciated today.
