Kay Bojesen, famous for his wooden figures, began his career as a silversmith under Georg Jensen, but his most renowned creations are undoubtedly his wooden animals. The little monkey, originally designed in 1951, has become a symbol of Danish design and Bojesen's playful approach to form and function.
