The chair is newly painted/refurbished and in fantastic condition. The well-known Italian designer and architect Piero Lissoni graduated from Polytechnico in Milan. In 1986, Lissoni founded Studio Lissoni. Since then Piero Lissoni has worked with a tight list of design brands such as Boffi, Cassina, Kartell, Living Divani and Flos, and with a wide range of designs in furniture and lighting. Lissoni's projects are often total designs, i.e. entire interiors and architecture for hotels, offices and showrooms, yachts and homes. His inspiration is multifaceted, but also comes from designers such as Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kj�rholm. The principle of Piero Lissoni's design is never to design for a specific function or a specific purpose - but to design for people. For Fritz Hansen, Piero Lissoni designed the Lissoni Series in 2006, and in autumn 2008 Alphabet™ a modular sofa, was introduced.
