Danish saber for light cavalry M. 1839, in iron and with iron scabbard.
L. 107 cm. (with scabbard).
Saber stamped "2.D.R.2.E. 120" (2. Dragoon, Regiment 2, Squadron no. 120), and "B.4. DE. 73"".
The blade stamped "Frederiksværk 1842".
Scabbard stamped "2.D.R.1.E. 109" (2. Dragoon, Regiment 1, Squadron No. 109), as well as "B. 4. DE. 73".
The 2nd Dragoon regiment had a garrison in Holstein in 1842.
The saber is in good condition, without rust, and with a suede portepe.
A firearms permit must be presented upon purchase.
