Decorative 8-sided collage picture of a fine woman with a parrot made of dried flowers and feathers and framed in a brass frame.
Dia.: 17.5 cm.
The picture was given as a personal gift to "Mr. Joachim" in 1928 by Else Tvermoes and Nils Thorsson.

Else Christiane Tvermoes (1900-1988) Danish painter.
Else Tvermoes made collages made entirely of dried and pressed flower petals and inflorescences.
She worked as an overglaze painter at the Royal Porcelain Factory, in particular painting Georg Thylstrup's figures from 1924-32.

Nils Johan Thorvald Thorsson (1898 -1975) was a Danish ceramist and painter who was artistic director of the faience factory Aluminia 1933-1969 and of the stone ice department at the Royal Porcelain Factory 1949-1969.
