Measurements: Approximately 20 x 25 centimeters

The text on the back of the picture reads:

"March 3rd 1969
Apollo 9 blast-off
Apollo 9 blasted-off from Cape Kennedy this afternoon on America's most hasardous space mission so far. The operation will reach it final climax on Friday when the Moonbug (Spider, red.:),piloted by crewman Russell Schweickart spins off from the Apollo craft to simulate a landing on the moon.
Photo shows Astronaut David R. Scott who is the Command Module Pilot.
