Bager table, southern Germany, ca.1800. With trunk and carrying handle. Oak and elm. With rounded corners. H: 75 cm. D: 62 cm. L .: 123 cm. This type of table was also used when you served unleavened bread in connection with Catholic celebrations. It is thus a showing table for bread.
