Really rare empire silver spoon, Hans Christensen Emmerlev (1777 - 1852). Døstrup, Denmark. Decorated with vases. Stamped: HE (no. 7392 in the silver book) L.: 22 cm. Weight: 47 grams.
On the reverse inscription: Miss. JH Beier, Kjærbølling, 8 May 1852.
The spoon is probably one of the last to have left the master's workshop.
The master is probably one of the most well-known South Jutland masters, having made many of the big silver eggs. Represented at several museums.
