Height 10.3 cm.
Beautifully sanded wineglass No. 1 from Holmegaard glassworks.
The glass appears in the catalog of the factory from 1853 and is described as being sold both undecorated, floral cut and with this wine leaf decoration.
The carved decorations are taken out of production at the beginning of the 1900s, but this wine leaves decoration was discontinued in the 1860s and was one of three versions. A double-running, counter-running and this back-running, which must be considered the rarest version.
When describing the version, you will always refer to the threads of the grapes.
The glass is with a distinctly sharp pontil and is in generally nice condition.
