An extremely rare ensemble by Christian Fjerdingstad for the famous French silversmith Christofle in his renown ‘Laos’ pattern, created for the 1937 Universal Exhibition in Paris. Plated silver.
The set consists of a round bowl – known as a porridger and a slanted bowl spoon in a silk lined, gold-colored Christofle presentation box.
Very good original condition.
Marked : ‘Christofle’ with the ‘O.C’ hallmark for Orfčvrerie Christofle.
Measures : Bowl 17 cm. in diameter. Spoon 14,5 cm. long.
