Set of 4 Wishbone chairs, model CH24, designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Carl Hansen & Søn. The chairs are painted in a grey colour, which adds a modern expression to the classic design. The wishbone chair, was designed in 1949 and has been in production since 1950.
CH24 is characterised by its characteristic Y-shaped backrest, which ensures both comfort and visual lightness. The chair's seat is woven in paper yarn. Wegner, one of Denmark's most influential furniture designers, focused on combining form, function and craftsmanship, which is clearly visible in the wishbone chair. Carl Hansen & Søn has produced the wishbone chair since its inception and is known for their high standards of craftsmanship.
