Unique Carl Halier vase

Sold

Height 24 cm.

The vase is signed CH 6-3-1932 and Royal Copenhagen waves.

Ox blood or sang de boeuf glaze is a technically difficult glaze to burn, as this vase testifies.
It is overcooked in some places and run incorrectly in other places. It is all something that helps to give the vase a far more charming expression than a successful beef blood glaze, in our opinion.

The vase is in good condition with an original defect at the base. The thick glaze layer has cracked a bit off.
