The Danish sculptor Moseholm is particularly recognized for his rounded depictions of men and women.
This sculpture is deeply rooted in Keld Moseholm's personal experience as an elite gymnast. "I was good at gymnastics, and therefore good at sensing how the body moves and where the body is in space," he explained, highlighting his artistic approach and understanding of movement and spatial awareness.
