Old motorcycle license plate from skanderborg amt.Registreringssystem 1903-1958 Danish number plates had between 1 February 1903 - 31 March 1958 one letter left on the plate and a serial number with up to six digits to the right of the plate. The letter stated the county vehicle was registered in. Within each county reported number series which part of the county vehicle was located. In some cases there were discrepancies between the county boundary and the boundary between the areas covered by the county letters. The system was up to the separation of judiciary and police, judicial reform in 1919, administered by the jurisdictions, which was a common term for købstadsjurisdiktioner, district courts and birch dishes. From 1919 the police took over the administration of the registration. The letters A, B, C, E, H, I / J, K, L, M, O, P, S, T, U, V, X, Y, Z and W were used from the beginning in 1903.
