Turquoise glazed stoneware vase, circa 1940s. 
Unmarked vase of tall cylindrical form with flared, outward-curving neck and deep turquoise glaze with vivid tonal variation — characteristic of Kåge’s Azur/Tonan series. Elegant and sculptural Art Deco presence.

Bio: 
Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) served as head designer at Gustavsberg from 1917 and became a central figure in Swedish ceramic modernism. His experimental glaze series such as Argenta, Azur and Farsta are considered seminal works of Scandinavian Art Deco and modernist design.
