Hand-thrown stoneware vase with scalloped rim and organic Art Nouveau decoration in soft blush glaze with deep blue hand-painted arch motifs throughout. A unique artisan-made example from early Danish ceramic production.

Roskilde Lervarefabrik was a notable Danish pottery on Zealand in the early 20th century, recognised for its hand-thrown and individually decorated pieces reflecting the Nordic interpretation of the Jugend / Art Nouveau aesthetic.
