Hand-thrown stoneware vase with softly rounded form and expressive flamed glaze in deep brown with flowing blue top and vertical brush-like streaks in a Jugend-inspired aesthetic. Unique artisan-made example.

Condition : Good condition with minor signs of use, a few chips on the rim.

Roskilde Lervarefabrik was a notable Danish pottery on Zealand in the early 20th century, recognised for its hand-thrown and individually decorated pieces reflecting the Nordic interpretation of the Jugend / Art Nouveau aesthetic.
