Unusually large miniature portrait of beautiful woman from the early 1800s.
The woman is dressed in white, has long beautiful curls and is very white in the skin, all classic empire attributes for women.
The picture is painted on bone and is very detailed, it is more closely painted with small dots.
It is signed on the page "Dumarsais".
On the opposite side it is with a slight discoloration and crack on the bone.
The picture is set in a beautiful brass frame that is also decorated on the back.
