18th century miniature with faceted glass

"Diameter" 2.5x2.7cm.

Beautiful hand-painted miniature of an 18th century nobleman in a red jacket and gray waistcoat.
The glass is unusually cut with small facets, we have not seen this before.
It is mounted in a small fine frame in gold, mounted on silver and later mounted on a brass back. Originally, the picture probably sat in a bracelet or longer watch chain.

It is in very nice condition.
