A throwing club would normally have been used in a war context, e.g. in Fiji. However, I do not know the history of this throwing club - where it originated or what its purpose has been.

Patina including common signs of age such as e.g. old drying cracks along the shaft. There is also an area with a v-shaped fracture. See photos.
