Large Margrethe d.In drinking cup in sterling silver made by Axel Salomonsen, jeweler in Copenhagen from 1933-77.
The cup measures: H:10,8cm. Dia.:14,5cm.
and has engraving at the bottom.

The Margrethe goblets are named after Queen Margrethe I, who was afraid of being forgiven and letting seven people drink from a goblet before she even drank.
Therefore, a Margrethe cup consists of eight roundings, so there was one rounding for each sideboard and one for the queen.
